Hoje estou feliz. O dia amanheceu com sol. Ok, pra muita gente ai do Brasil isso nao e novidade, certo? Mas aqui... bem, aqui em pleno inverno (ta certo, o inverno so comeca no dia 21, oficialmente, mas quando os termometros marcam 3C, considero inverno!) voce ter um solzinho pela manha ja e uma beleza.
Tinha programado o alarme para as 7 e 30 da matina. Mas acabei acordando antes disso (3 minutos antes, pode?) pois hoje os meninos iriam se apresentar na igreja. Hoje foi o dia deles cantarem e parte do culto foi feita por eles. Filipe tirou a oferta. Claro que o Peter tirou fotos. Todos cantaram uma musica linda, o Peter tambem filmou e eu babei...hehehe
Depois tivemos o cafe e cha de sempre mas hoje com aquelas iguarias de Natal, pao tipo panetone. Gente, achei panetone aqui. Italiano. Finalmente. Aqui eles fazem um pao com passas mas com um creme de amendoas dentro. Tipo uma rosca. Mas o panetone ja e mais dificil de achar. Finalmente vi na V&D- pra quem nao sabe, uma loja tipo 'Mesbla', 'Mappin' ou Macy's. Enfim, amei saber que meu Natal vai ter PANETONE!
Nem te conto: so aconteceu uma coisa chata logo de manha - nem tudo e perfeito, ne? o limpador de para-brisa (ou melhor dizer 'para-neve'?) quebrou. Tentamos achar um lugar para comprar outro, mas apesar das lojas estarem abertas hoje, em pleno domingo (eba!) para comprar peca de carro, nao.
Mas tudo bem, com o sol hoje nao iremos precisar dele. Amanha a gente ve isso. Pessoal vou fazer prova de direcao esta semana. Espero que passe. Estou com saudades de dirigir! Pra quem nao sabe, aqui minha carteira de motorista so e valida por 6 meses, e depois disso tenho que fazer uma prova. Se eu passar, troco a minha pela holandesa, que tambem me da direito de dirigir na Europa toda.
Bem, e isso. AH ja ia esquecendo: a arvore de Natal esta linda. Com tudo o que tem direito. Luzes, bolas, coracao, sinos, enfim... decoracao completa. Vou colocar foto na nossa homepage(http://www.veldhuis.org), pois ainda nao aprendi a postar fotos aqui no BLOG.

I m happy today. We have sun! Ok, for many people in Brazil this is normal, right? But here …when you have sun in the winter (ok, officially the winter starts on the 21st, but when we have 3C, I consider it winter!) is wonderful.
I had programmed my alarm to call me at 7:30am. But I woke up before it. (3 minutes before!) because the kids would have the presentation at the church. Today they sang there and part from the service was made by the teens. Filipe collected the offer. Peter took pictures, off course. They sang a beautiful song, Peter taped it and I just enjoyed … hehehe
Then we had coffee, tea and today also all those Christmas cakes, breads, that in Brazil we call PANETONE.
Guys, I ve found Panetone here. Italian. Finally. Here they make a kind of bread with raisin and also with a cream of almond inside.(now I have to use the dictionary … hehehe in dutch I know the name of these things, but now I forget already in english … this is too much!) Anyway, I saw the Panetone (if you know the name of this in english please let me know ok?) at V&D – a shopp like Macys. Anyway: We are going to have Panetone at Christmas Eve!
The only thing that was not so good was that today our car had a little problem with (now I dont have any idea of the name of it hahahaaha) that thing that cleans the rain from the front car. Wow that’s was hard to tell! But we could not find any shopp open today. Only shopping centers, and off course places to by Christmas trees, and presents too. At least we have sun, so we dont need this till tomorrow.
Guys, this week I ll have my drive s license test. I hope I pass. I need this in order to drive here cause my drive s license is not valid in Europe.
Oh, I almost forget to tell: Our Christmas tree is ready and beautiful. Full of balls, hearts, little things and everything in red this year. I will put a picture of it in our homepage (http://www.veldhuis.org/ ), cause I still don t know how to post pictures in this BLOG.
