Holanda vai `as urnas hoje para eleger conselho municipal

Mais de 11.8 milhões de pessoas, incluindo milhares de estrangeiros, podem votar para eleições municipais na Holanda nesta terça-feira.
Em princípio todos os cidadãos Holandeses com 18 anos ou mais podem votar. Cidadãos de outros países da Comunidade Européia que morem nos Países Baixos e outros estrangeiros que estejam morando aqui legalmente por 5 anos ou mais também têm direito de votar para eleições municipais.

Mas, infelizmente…
Graças `as falhas administrativas cometidas pelo IND- Immigration and Naturalisation Service (Serviço de Imigração e Naturalização), centenas de imigrantes não receberam o cartão para poderem votar nas eleições municipais desta Terça-Feira.
Todos os estrangeiros que vivam ou morem na Holanda por 5 anos consecutivos tem direito a votar para eleições locais.

1-você nem está aí para eleições da Holanda, do Brasil ou qualquer tipo de eleição;
2- você se interessa pelas eleições da Holanda, mas não acredita em mudança;
3-- você se interessa pelas eleições da Holanda e acredita que algo vai mudar;
4- você se interessa pelas eleições do seu país, mas não acredita em mudança;
5- você se interessa pelas eleições do seu país, e acredita em mudança pelo voto.

Netherlands goes to the polls to elect local councillors

7 March 2006 AMSTERDAM — Some 11.8 million people, including thousands of expats, are eligible to vote in town and city councils elections in the Netherlands on Tuesday.

In principle all Dutch citizens aged 18 and older are eligible to vote. Citizens of other EU countries living in the Netherlands and other foreigners who have been living here legally for five years or more are also entitled to vote in the local elections.
But, unfortunately…
Thanks to administrative faults made by the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND), hundreds of immigrants have wrongly not been sent voting cards for the municipal elections being held next Tuesday.
All foreigners who have lived in the Netherlands for five consecutive years have the right to vote in local elections. The IND supplies the residence history of foreign residents to the councils.
